Feeding The Troops!

Here is an outline of some ideas I had for food. Let me know if you need/want anything different.

WEDNESDAY – Arrive

Evening – Baked Potato Bar - As you get into town you can stop by our house and we will have an ongoing feast of Baked Potatoes and goodies you can top them with.


THURSDAY – Tubing

Breakfast – On your own or cereal/muffins/pastry at our house.

Lunch – Pack lunches for on the river from here at our house. Lunch meat, peanut butter and jelly, cold chicken, etc. This is like a floating picnic on the river. You tube with an ice chest in tow complete with food and beverage. There are some regulations...no glass and such. Alcohol is permitted. Dinner – DiGiorno Pizza - HEY! Don't laugh! I know a lot of you are from Chicago - but by the time we get home from the river we will all be pretty fried...and food will be food. We will need something quick and easy to fix. These DiGiorno Pizza's are pretty good if I must say so myself!!!


FRIDAY – Travel to cabin

Breakfast – On your own or cereal/muffins/pastry at our house.

Lunch – leftovers – sandwiches – eat up what we are not going to take up to the cabin.

Dinner – Sloppy Joes - I will fix them here so that when we get there all we need to do is heat the meat up...throw some buns and chips out and....WALLA! Dinner!!!


SATURDAY – Do Whatever Day

Breakfast – Big ole breakfast at the cabin!!! Who wants to cook/make what?!?! YUM!

Lunch – On your own

Dinner – Cheese Enchiladas, (I will make these.) Taquitos, (the "home made kind"...you know...like Costco makes! My motto is....I can cook anything Costco can sell! Deal with it!! HA!) Chips & Salsa


SUNDAY – “THE DAY!”

Breakfast – Simple – at the cabin. Cereal/muffins/pastry etc.

Lunch - BBQ

Dinner - BBQ


MONDAY – Travel Home

Breakfast – On your own or whatever you can find at the cabin.

Lunch – On your own or eat up leftovers.

Dinner - For those that may want to stay...we will take it from here.....
